That’s right, your mortgage enquiry, your needs. We want to know about you and to get to know you. What are your goals and ambitions? What are your hobbies and interests? What motivates you?
By taking the time to chat to you about these things, we can get to know you better, and the better we know you, the more we can help you.
How are we different from some other mortgage brokers
While our appearance might be more relaxed than traditional expectations – no suits or ties – you can be assured that our approach is anything but casual when it comes to your mortgage needs. We don’t follow the typical corporate image, but we take our work seriously and are committed to providing high-quality, professional advice. We want you to feel comfortable talking to us as real people, just like you.
Our first conversation is likely to be a brief, informal chat rather than a long formal meeting. It’s a chance for us to understand what you’re aiming to achieve and to get to know you a little better. Whether by phone or video, we’ll speak at a time that works best for you. You’ll be talking directly with either Paul or Tom—real people who are here to help
We are whole of market mortgage advisers. This means that we don’t just deal with one lender, or a small panel of lenders like many advisers. We don’t have any favourites, instead we look at the whole marketplace of lenders to find the best mortgage deal for you.
What experience do we have? Paul has been giving mortgage advice since before Tom was born, so he’s seen and heard most things mortgage related. Tom has been advising mortgage clients for over 5 years and has developed a great depth of knowledge. Between us we’re well equipped to give you the best advice.
Let’s face it, the mortgage world is full of jargon. We’ll try to avoid the jargon, keep paperwork to a minimum, and guide you through the process.
Once we’ve got the details we need from you, that’s when we kick into action. We’ll search the whole of the market to find the best mortgage option for you.

The fear of getting something wrong or asking a seemingly silly question adds to the drama. By the way, we don’t think there is such a thing as a silly question!
Fear not, by taking some time do some planning and preparation, you can take a lot of stress out of the situation and even make it enjoyable!
We’ve been helping people purchase property for years and we’ve put together an easy-to-understand guide to buying and owning a home. The guide covers everything you need to know about the home buying process and beyond.

What About Insurance?
If you can say one thing about life, it’s that life is unpredictable.
We probably all know someone who has been touched by premature death, serious illness or an accident. Whilst these events are bad enough, the prospect of potentially losing your home because of them doesn’t bear thinking about. There are ways to minimise the financial stress, if not the emotional stress.
Whilst it’s not an easy or cheerful conversation to have, we will discuss ways in which you can protect yourself and minimise the risks of losing your home if something bad happens. We owe it to you to address the risks that you face, as you’ve worked hard to buy a home, and it would be terrible to lose it by not mitigating the risks.
We will give you our professional advice on how to protect yourself and your family in the event of death, serious illness, or loss of income due to accident or illness. Our advice is specific for each client’s circumstances.
As with all insurance policies, conditions and exclusions will apply.

I first contacted Tom several years ago as a first-time buyer looking for information. We had an initial meeting where he answered all my questions and provided plenty of helpful guidance. Although I decided not to buy at the time, he has stayed in touch ever since, keeping me updated on schemes and any changes that might benefit me.
Tom is always quick to respond, easy to contact, and consistently helpful. He has kept me fully informed throughout the progress of my application. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services! Thank you!

As first time buyers we couldn’t have asked for a better mortgage adviser. Tom was amazing in every sense! He’s super quick at responding, he’s very knowledgeable and will always give the best advice. We would have been completely lost in this process if it wasn’t for Tom. Thanks so much!

I want to share my experience working with Tom. Last year, he helped my son secure his first mortgage, and I was very impressed. This year, I asked him to assist me with a mortgage after several years without one. He has been kind, supportive, and always responsive, even when I was likely anxious. He never gave up. He’s outstanding and a great person to have by your side when navigating the mortgage process, which is very different from 20 years ago!
Now that I have my mortgage, I am thrilled. Tom has been fantastic from start to finish, and I highly recommend him.
Thank you, Tom. Both Zak and I will be forever grateful to you. 🙏🏻

So, what’s the process?
1. Initial conversation
This can be a phone call, Email, message or text, whichever suits you best. We’ll then arrange to have a brief chat about your enquiry and how we could help. We can then arrange a time to go into more detail, unless you want to do that there and then.
2. The first appointment
Time for a proper conversation so that we can get to know more about you, your situation, mortgage needs, and requirements. There is no time limit for this, take as long as you like. Typically, this appointment lasts for 20 – 60 minutes. We’ll both ask each other lots of questions, but don’t worry if you forget to ask something, nothing is written in stone at this stage.
3. Let’s get you registered
After the first appointment, we’ll get you set up as a client on our secure online portal. This is where we can share and upload documents, including a fact find questionnaire that you can complete so that we’ve got the initial information we need from you. This enables us to start searching the marketplace of lenders and to make a tailormade recommendation for you.
4. It’s now down to us
Once we’ve got your completed fact find, we’ll be in touch to confirm your needs and priorities. You can then sit back and let us use our market expertise and advanced software tools to come up with the right mortgage deal for you.
5. Back to you
We’ll present you with our recommendation and answer any queries. All documents will be in your personal section in our portal, so that you know where to find everything. We’ll talk you through any queries that you might have and await your thoughts.
6. Let’s go
Once you’re happy with our recommendation, we’ll gather the necessary paperwork from you before submitting your application to the chosen lender. We’ll keep everyone in the loop, including estate agents and solicitors. We’ll also be in regular contact with you to update you on the progress of your application and to answer any questions.
Let’s get started
Which mortgage do I need?
You can find more information about the various types of mortgages we do by clicking on the follow:
There may be a fee for arranging a mortgage and the precise amount will depend on your circumstances. This will typically be up to £450. There is no charge for any initial consultation.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you remortgage.
