That’s right, your mortgage enquiry, your needs. We want to know about you and to get to know you. What are your goals and ambitions? What are your hobbies and interests? What motivates you?
By taking the time to chat to you about these things, we can get to know you better, and the better we know you, the more we can help you.
Our appearance may be casual, but our attitude is professional. We might not wear suits and ties, but that doesn’t mean that we’re laid back in our approach to your mortgage requirements, we just don’t fit corporate image stereotype of the industry. We want you to feel comfortable talking to us as real people, just like you.
Our initial contact may be a quick informal chat, not a long, drawn-out formal meeting. This is so that we can get a feel for what it is that you’re looking to achieve, and so that we can get to know a bit about you. We can call you, or chat by video, at a time that suits you. You’ll be dealing with either Paul or Tom.
We are whole of market mortgage advisers. This means that we don’t just deal with one lender, or a small panel of lenders like most advisers. We don’t have any favourites, so we look at the whole marketplace of lenders to find the best mortgage deal for you.
What experience do we have? Paul has been giving mortgage advice since before Tom was born, so he’s seen and heard most things mortgage related. Tom has been advising mortgage clients for over 5 years and has developed a great depth of knowledge. Between us we’re well equipped to give you the best advice.
Let’s face it, the mortgage world is full of jargon. We’ll try to avoid the jargon, keep paperwork to a minimum, and guide you through the process.
Once we’ve got the details we need from you, that’s when we kick into action. We’ll search the whole of the market to find the best mortgage option for you.

What About Insurance?
If you can say one thing about life, it’s that life is unpredictable.
We probably all know someone who has been touched by premature death, serious illness or an accident. Whilst these events are bad enough, the prospect of potentially losing your home because of them doesn’t bear thinking about. There are ways to minimise the financial stress, if not the emotional stress.
Whilst it’s not an easy or cheerful conversation to have, we will discuss ways in which you can protect yourself and minimise the risks of losing your home if something bad happens. We owe it to you to address the risks that you face, as you’ve worked hard to buy a home, and it would be terrible to lose it by not mitigating the risks.
We will give you our professional advice on how to protect yourself and your family in the event of death, serious illness, or loss of income due to accident or illness. Our advice is specific for each client’s circumstances.
As with all insurance policies, conditions and exclusions will apply.

If anyone asks me if I can recommend a mortgage advisor, Tom is the guy I will send them to. He treats your Mortgage like it’s his own and you will not get a better deal anywhere else. He can pick from the whole of the mortgage market and not just a selected few like most mortgage brokers. He’s quick to respond , even outside of normal office working hours. I couldn’t have got through the stressful last few months trying to purchase my first home without his support , he’s just been amazing!

I am giving this review, as I want to say how fantastic Tom has been with helping, supporting and guiding me with getting a mortgage.
Firstly, I did not think I would be able to get a mortgage due to a number of reasons, age, small deposit and I am on a 12 month contract so job security is unclear.
Tom has been so supportive, encouraging, positive and given me so much advice, guidance and support throughout the whole process.
He has explained everything to me in great detail and every question, concern or worry I have had, he has answered and encouraged me to move forwards and to be more positive.
I do believe without Tom’s support and guidance I would have pulled out of buying my first home.
Therefore, I highly recommend Tom as a mortgage advisor and I know I will most definitely be speaking to Tom again when my mortgage is up for review.
So Tom, thank you so much for everything.

So, what’s the process?
1. Initial conversation
This can be a phone call, Email, message or text, whichever suits you best. We’ll then arrange to have a brief chat about your enquiry and how we could help. We can then arrange a time to go into more detail, unless you want to do that there and then.
2. The first appointment
Time for a proper conversation so that we can get to know more about you, your situation, mortgage needs, and requirements. There is no time limit for this, take as long as you like. Typically, this appointment lasts for 20 – 60 minutes. We’ll both ask each other lots of questions, but don’t worry if you forget to ask something, nothing is written in stone at this stage.
3. Let’s get you registered
After the first appointment, we’ll get you set up as a client on our secure online portal. This is where we can share and upload documents, including a fact find questionnaire that you can complete so that we’ve got the initial information we need from you. This enables us to start searching the marketplace of lenders and to make a tailormade recommendation for you.
4. It’s now down to us
Once we’ve got your completed fact find, we’ll be in touch to confirm your needs and priorities. You can then sit back and let us use our market expertise and advanced software tools to come up with the right mortgage deal for you.
5. Back to you
We’ll present you with our recommendation and answer any queries. All documents will be in your personal section in our portal, so that you know where to find everything. We’ll talk you through any queries that you might have and await your thoughts.
6. Let’s go
Once you’re happy with our recommendation, we’ll gather the necessary paperwork from you before submitting your application to the chosen lender. We’ll keep everyone in the loop, including estate agents and solicitors. We’ll also be in regular contact with you to update you on the progress of your application and to answer any questions.
Let’s get started
